Adventure Time Run is a free app based around the characters from the popular animated show Adventure Time. Guide characters from the show through a series of levels, defeating enemy zombies and the evil Ice King.

Adventure Time Run follows in the light-heated footsteps of the main show, complete with silly humour and wacky characters. The show's two main heroes Finn and Jake form the majority of the playable characters, but other favourites include the Bubblegum Princess and Marceline. Fans of the show will feel right at home with the tone and humour thanks to the developer's focus on expanding the unique tone of the cartoon. Gameplay consists of running through different locations from the show, collecting items and defeating enemies along the way. While fairly simplistic, a nice element of challenge and some fun interactions create an overall positive experience. The game does require a modern phone or tablet to run, with some older models unable to even launch the title screen. Optional in-game purchases are available to gain extra diamonds for additional content.

Adventure Time Run is a fairly good game which succeeds thanks to the overall tone. While mainly for those familiar with Adventure Time, the simple gameplay mean anyone can jump in and start playing.
